Virginia head men’s basketball coach Dave Leitao played host to 6-10, 210-pound junior Henry Sims this past weekend. Rated a 4-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com, Sims, a standout for Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD), enjoyed trip to Charlottesville according to his head coach.
Sims has now visited Virginia twice, with the first time coming last fall for the home opener against Arizona.
“Both times, he enjoyed it,” Mount St. Joseph’s head coach Pat Clatchey said. “He likes Virginia. They are one of the schools he is strongly considering. I don’t know if he has a leader or a favorite…I haven’t really gotten into that aspect with him. I know their staff is showing a lot of interest. He is a very talented young player with a lot of potential. I will also say that he is an outstanding young man who comes from a very good family.”
