6-7, 290-pound OL/DL Corey Lewis enjoyed an outstanding experience at the University of Virginia on Monday, coming away impressed once again with what the school and the football program have to offer. Virginia has been a favorite of the talented prospect for quite some time, and now the ‘Hoos have jumped in with an official scholarship offer.

“It was a really good trip,” said Lewis, who had visited UVa on several occasions beforehand. His scholarship offer was in the mail before he arrived on Monday. “I really enjoyed it. I’ve always liked it. I didn’t get a complete visit, but I hope to go back in the next few weeks for a better tour.”

Just how much does Lewis like Virginia? Well, enough to think about making a verbal commitment to Al Groh and company.
