Virginia’s 2007 football recruiting class received very good news in recent weeks with 4-star defensive back Ras-I Dowling earning a qualifying SAT score. Ballou (Washington, D.C.) offensive lineman Lamar Milstead , rated a 4-star prospect by Rivals.com, has followed suit and he is now set to enroll at Virginia next month.

“He got his qualifying score,” said an excited Lyndon Milstead of his son. “He will be in Charlottesville on July 5th.”

Those who have spoken with Lamar know he has a truly laid back personality. Despite only having two chances remaining to get a qualifying test score, he always seemed cool and supremely confident that he would make it. Sure enough, he did what he felt he would do.
