Marist (Atlanta, GA) 6-3, 175-pound safety recruit Cooper Taylor certainly showed his toughness last season as a junior, playing the entire season with a strained hamstring. In fact, Marist head coach Alan Chadwick says there were “three games he had no business playing in.” Taylor toughed it out, finishing the season with 56 tackles and six interceptions.

The tough and talented recruit will be in Charlottesville tomorrow for UVa’s Elite Junior day.

“I was healthy for my last two games and had almost twice as many tackles in those games as I had in all my previous games combined,” Taylor recalled of his junior season. “I’m just excited to be healthy and I’m looking forward to next season.”
