The big man on Virginia’s campus this past weekend was 7-0, 230-pound Assane Sene , a top center prospect out of South Kent School in Connecticut. The senior had a great time on his official visit, which was his third overall visit to Charlottesville this year. South Kent head coach Raphael Chillious provided the latest on Sene’s experience as well as where the decision making process will go from here.

“He loved it,” Chillious said. “It confirmed a lot of what he thought about Virginia. He is just absorbing it now. He is probably going to take a day or two to think about if he is ready to make a decision or if he will take some more visits, but he really liked it at Virginia. It confirmed everything he thought about Coach Leitao and the school. And he was impressed by the team. You go to some schools and a lot of the guys want to party, but Virginia’s players just hung around and spent time together.”

Last week, Coach Chillious acknowledged that the coach/player relationship would be very important to Sene. UVa’s Dave Leitao was able to impress.
