Jameel Sewell ‘s running ability may be a key factor this week.

The Huskies enter this game undefeated while boasting one of the top defenses in the land statistically. They are ranked fourth nationally in total defense, yielding just 250.60 yards per game, and fourth in scoring defense at 11 points per game. UConn is eighth in passing efficiency defense with a 94.91 rating and 15th nationally against the run at 89.20 yards per game.

While all of those number are nice, where UConn has been the most dangerous is in forcing turnovers. Connecticut’s 11 interceptions tie for fifth nationally and 44 of 145 points against Division 1-A opponents have come as a result of turnovers. That’s nearly one-third of the team’s points.
