South Lakes’ (Reston, VA) varsity football squad fell to Langley last Friday night, but 6-4, 170-pound wide receiver recruit A.J. Price turned in a solid performance, hauling in five catches for 74 yards and a score. It was an important game for the talented wide receiver, as there were some interested spectators in attendance.

Anthony Poindexter, who serves as Price’s primary recruiter for UVa, was at South Lakes High School on Friday and stayed for the game later that night. He was not alone.

“[UVa coaches] Anthony Poindexter and Bob Price were at the game on Friday,” Ellenberger said. “Coach Poindexter called back [yesterday] morning and said they were still interested. He said [UVa head coach Al Groh] wants to meet with A.J. They are looking for him to go down there for the Wake Forest game.”
