5-9, 170-pound defensive back Darryl Hamilton saw his excellent high school career come to an end last Friday, when Centreville (Clifton, VA) fell to West Springfield 30-27 in the first round of the Northern Region, Division 6 playoffs. The talented senior will now turn his attention to recruiting and hopes to set some official visits in the near future.

Hamilton’s father, Gregory, says his son plans to be in Charlottesville on November 24th for the Virginia/Virginia Tech game. Whether that will be an official visit or an unofficial remains unknown.

“The week after next, he plans to go down to Virginia for the Virginia Tech game,” Hamilton said. “He is going to talk to Coach Poindexter this week and set up some time for an official visit. I’m not sure if it will be on that weekend or later. If there are any other schools interested, we’ll talk to them. He’ll make a decision as soon as he is finished with his visits. He wants to get it over with, but he wanted to wait until the season is over.”
