Several days after receiving an official scholarship offer from the University of Virginia, South Lakes (Reston, VA) wide receiver A.J. Price was in Charlottesville on an unofficial visit. Accompanied by his mother, the 6-4, 170-pound senior spent Saturday afternoon touring UVa, attending a football practice and talking to coaches.

My mom and I did go down [to Charlottesville yesterday],” Price said. “We got there around noon and left about 6:30 [p.m.]. We talked with one of the academic advisors. We saw a lot of the campus. Then I went to watch the practice and my mom went to get something to eat.”

Impressed with Virginia’s practice, Price said “It was a real disciplined practice. It was disciplined, but you could tell the players were having fun and wanted to be there. That is a good thing. The coaches were excited. The players were excited. For me, that was a big plus.”
