6-4, 170-pound South Lakes (Reston, VA) wide receiver A.J. Price had hoped to make an official visit to Penn State last weekend, but the trip was cancelled due to inclement weather. Had Price been able to make the trip, he could have possibly made a college choice by the end of this month. Now, it appears he will wait until January.

“It is tough for the kid to make a decision because he and his mom haven’t seen Penn State,” South Lakes head coach John Ellenberger said. “It wasn’t real good timing for snow to hit Pennsylvania. I think they were planning to make a decision before the holidays, but now the weather has really thrown a wrench into things.”

Price seems determined to at least make the official visit to Penn State before making a commitment. He has already made two unofficial visits to Virginia and one unofficial to Michigan, but he has never visited Penn State.
