One of the more intriguing prospects left in this 2008 recruiting class, Lovejoy (Atlanta, GA) defensive end/outside linebacker Tory Allen has only played one year of high school football. That was this year, when the senior suited up at defensive end and wide receiver for the Wildcats. Allen showed off impressive athleticism in racking up around 60 tackles including 11 sacks and now could be on the verge of landing a college scholarship offer.

Allen is drawing quite a bit of significant interest, but he has yet to pick up an official offer.

“I just got back from North Carolina this weekend,” Allen said. “They were talking about offering me. I’m supposed to be going to Virginia this weekend and I’ll see if they offer me. I’ve talked to Alabama A&M and Georgia Southern. They just got my highlight tape and they are trying to get me down there. I’ve also talked to Memphis, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, UAB and Troy.”
