One of the top juniors in the South may be in Charlottesville on February 24th. Richland-Northeast (Columbia, S.C.) defensive lineman Chris Bonds , who has scholarship offers from some of the top Division 1A programs in the country, has taken in junior days at South Carolina and Georgia, respectively, and UVa could be next according to Richland-Northeast head coach Jay Frye.

“He is talking about going to Virginia [on the 24th],” Frye said.

Bonds’ list of early offers is indeed impressive. Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Miami, LSU, Notre Dame, South Carolina and Virginia are among the many programs that have offered.
