Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) defensive lineman Zach Thompson has compiled seven Division 1A scholarship offers to date, and he has also hit the road recently to visit some of the schools that have offered. Most recently, the 6-5, 250-pound junior made unofficial visits to N.C. State and Wake Forest and enjoyed both trips.

At N.C. State, “I really liked the facilities. Everything there overlooks the stadium and the field. The stadium is big. The weight room is big. My position coach, Coach Willis, I really liked him. It is a lot bigger of a city and a bigger campus. It is pretty spread out, but I like that too.”

Thompson was very impressed with Wake Forest, a program he visited last Thursday.
