Trinity (Camp Hill, PA) offensive tackle Nick Kindler has visited a handful of colleges in recent weeks, including trips to Boston College, Connecticut, Illinois, Pitt, Rutgers and Virginia. The 6-6, 275-pound rising senior headed to Charlottesville on June 16th to pick up his brother, who was participating in UVa men’s basketball’s Elite Camp.

“I had a great visit when I went down to UVa. It was real awesome,” said Kindler, who made his first ever visit to UVa the previous month. “I got to hang out the whole day while my brother was finishing up with basketball stuff. I talked to Coach Borbely and Coach [Al] Groh. I had a good time. We just sat and talked about the possibility of me coming down there for school. They talked about the numbers, what they are thinking about taking and how many more spots they have.”

Kindler learned that Virginia does not have much more room in the 2009 class, but there are a few spots remaining for offensive linemen.
