Dartmouth (MA) rising senior Arthur Fontaine , rated a 4-star prospect by Rivals.com, verbally committed to Boston College earlier this spring. The 6-5, 235-pound tight end/defensive end regretted the decision and decided to de-commit in order to look at other programs. He made several visits to potential suitors and just recently came up with what he calls a “solid top four.”

“When I committed to Boston College, it was a blind man’s decision,” Fontaine said. “It was the only school I knew. I really felt bad for de-committing, but I really had a lot of doubts about it. In reality, I may want to go away for my college experience. God has given me the opportunity to visit great schools like Virginia and Georgia. In a million years I didn’t think I would have the opportunity to visit those schools.”

Boston College remains high on Fontaine’s list. In fact, the Eagles join Georgia, Maryland and Virginia as the four favorites in this race.
