The Virginia football staff recently sent out at least one new offer for the 2009 class. Xavieran (Brooklyn, N.Y.) offensive lineman/defensive lineman Oday Aboushi , a 6-6, 305-pound prospect, is the latest prospect to receive an offer from Al Groh and company. It is his fourth Division 1A offer.

“Virginia offered a couple of days ago, actually,” Aboushi said. “It was a verbal offer. Virginia is a great place academically and football-wise. I like the coaching staff. I did well at their big man camp. I have a good taste in my mouth about them. It could be a good choice for me.”

Aboushi now boasts two ACC offers, one Big 10 offer and one Big East offer. By the end of September, he could see that list grow.
