B.J. Cabbell is expected to make his first career start at right guard in the season opener.

Sophomore offensive lineman B.J. Cabbell knows that he has limited experience. After all, he has played in just four games in this college career with all of the snaps coming as a reserve guard or on the field goal team. That’s quite a bit different than what he’s about to experience when Southern California comes to town on Aug. 30.

Is Cabbell, who is expected to start at right guard, intimidated?

“I love it. I’m up for the challenge,” he said at Meet the Team Day. “What bigger challenge could you have?”
