The night before he heads to Charlottesville to check out his future team in action, UVa running back recruit Dominique Wallace will be in action as Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) takes on Turner Ashby in what will be the Chargers season opener. Wallace is anxious to start what will be his fourth straight season on the varsity level, being apart of a team that lost only five seniors from last year’s team and is returning nine starters on the defensive side of the ball.
“Our main goal is winning the Battlefield district,” Wallace said. “Our main focus right now is Turner Ashby. We’re just going to play football. It’s going to be like last year. We’re going to go all out and play our hardest and try to win games. I’m not even thinking about the next level of football. I go to practice thinking about my team right now, the Chancellor Chargers.”
