Camden Catholic (N.J.) star senior Tyree Watkins verbally committed to Virginia in June, but the 6-2, 180-pound wide receiver still had questions about his future school prior to visiting for the Southern California game. Watkins updated the latest on his college decision, including whether or not he remains committed to the Cavs.

“I was there, from beginning to end,” Watkins said, referring to the Virginia game versus USC. “I see that they did come out passing. They were passing before they got down, which was a plus. That boosted my confidence that I definitely made a good decision. I’m staying solid with my commitment.”

Watkins remains “committed,” but he has not ruled out the possibility of making official visits to other programs besides Virginia.
