Xaverian (Brooklyn, N.Y.) enjoyed a 21-12 win over Holy Cross in its first game of the 2008 season. One of the team’s leaders, 6-6, 300-pound offensive lineman/defensive tackle Oday Aboushi , had an outstanding game – a performance he believes should help his recruitment quite a bit.

“I dominated that game,” Aboushi said. “I had seven tackles, but my main job is to pile up the line and get triple-teamed. I played well on defense, but I feel I did a lot better on offense. My coach told me after the game that it was one of the best games he had ever seen me play. I had eight pancake blocks.”

Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers and Virginia are the four schools that have offered the Empire State star so far, but several more could be on the way soon.
