When we last checked in with Camden (N.J.) wide receiver Tyree Watkins , he had just taken an unofficial visit to the University of Virginia for the season opener against Southern Cal. At the time, the 6-2, 180-pound senior remained committed to UVa but added that he would re-evaluate his options after making an official visit to Charlottesville later this fall. Has anything changed?

“Everything’s still the same, sir,” answered Watkins, who is one of Virginia’s most highly rated recruits in the 2009 class. “I’m still at the same spot. I’m definitely not losing interest in Virginia.”

Watkins downplayed a recent unofficial visit to Penn State, although he did enjoy the experience.
