Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA) offensive lineman/defensive lineman Brennan Williams was excited to take his first official visit this past weekend, when he and his parents headed to the University of Virginia. The 6-6, 270-pound senior, a Rivals.com and Scout.com 4-star recruit as well as an Army All-American Bowl selection, came away pleased with his latest experience in Charlottesville.

“Being there again, I got a better feel for [the University of Virginia and its football program],” said Williams, who had taken several unofficial visits to UVa including one this spring and another this summer. “It was good to actually be on campus when the students were there. Every other time there had been a vacation or something.”

Of the visit, Williams said, “I was definitely really comfortable around the players and the students. I thought the game-time atmosphere was pretty cool. I liked when they rushed the field at the end.”
