Among the unofficial visitors at last Saturday’s win over North Carolina was Bo Revell , a 6-6, 220-pound junior quarterback out of Battlefield High School in Haymarket, Virginia. Revell, whose father played football at UVa, is on Virginia’s 2010 class recruiting radar.

“He went to UVa’s camp, [North] Carolina’s camp and he went to one of the combines. He has been invited to a top 500-prospect combine,” Battlefield head coach Mark Cox said. “He is getting stuff from Georgia, Maryland, Virginia and others. He went to Virginia’s game last weekend and is going to Maryland this weekend.”

Revell has received college interest, but right now “is not even thinking about college,” Cox said. The junior’s focus has been solely on the 2008 season, which has been his first full season as Battlefield’s starting signal caller.
