6-3, 195-pound linebacker/defensive end Aramide Olaniyan , who Woodberry Forest (VA) head coach Clint Alexander calls “the most explosive player I’ve ever coached,” currently leads a talented Woodberry 2010 class with five Division 1A scholarship offers, including four ACC schools and one Pac-10 program. Do not be surprised if more programs enter the mix before spring.

“He causes so much havoc and destruction on the other side of the line of scrimmage,” Alexander said of Olaniyan, who plays a hybrid defensive end/linebacker role for Woodberry. As a junior last season, Olaniyan, who ran a 4.51 40 at the Underclassmen Combine in Baltimore last spring, racked up 13 sacks.

This off-season, Olaniyan hopes to show several things to college recruiters.
