UVa’s first 2010 class junior day has resulted in its first 2010 class commitment. This morning, West Rowan (Mount Ulla, N.C.) junior Kevin Parks , a 5-7 1/2, 190-pound running back, called up primary recruiter Wayne Lineburg and informed the Virginia running backs coach of his decision to commit.

Parks, who has been leaning heavily to Virginia in recent weeks, also spoke with head coach Al Groh and several other members of the coaching staff.

“Kevin committed,” West Rowan head coach Scott Young told TheSabre.com. “He felt at home at Virginia. His parents felt good about it. He decided Virginia was the place for him.”
