Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) junior wide receiver E.J. Scott left Charlottesville on Saturday with good news, having earned a scholarship offer from the University of Virginia. The 5-11, 170-pound speedster learned of the news while attending UVa’s junior day.

“Coach Groh came up and talked to me and my dad and told me he could see me fitting in their program and that he wanted to go ahead and offer,” Scott said.

UVa is a school Scott seems highly interested in, but the WCAC second-team all-district selection is not ready to make a college choice just yet. He now boasts two Division 1A scholarship offers.
