Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) quarterback Andrew Hendrix picked up his fourth Division 1A offer last Saturday, when he attended the University of Virginia’s junior day. UVa joined Illinois, Indiana and Kansas as the Division 1A programs to offer the 6-3, 220-pound junior, who came away impressed with Virginia’s campus and coaches.
“I was a little disappointed because it was Spring Break and there weren’t many students around, but I could picture the students being there and filling the campus,” Hendrix said. “I liked everything about Charlottesville, from how clean it was to the environment. The Jeffersonian architecture impressed me, aside from the coaches. I really liked the campus itself.”
Of the coaching staff, Hendrix said, “I had really good chemistry with them, actually. Coach Brandon coached at Bowling Green and Bowling Green has Moeller connections. We’re all sort of intertwined. I really liked them a lot.”
