Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA) standout Ibraheim (pronounced Eeb-rah-heem) Campbell rushed 247 times for 1,772 yards and 23 touchdowns last season as a junior, but the 5-11, 190-pound rising senior’s preference is to play defensive back on the college level. He currently holds two Division 1A scholarship offers and both programs will give him a shot on either side of the ball.

“I just find defense a lot more fun than offense,” said Campbell, who has primarily played cornerback on the defense for Chestnut Hill head coach Rick Knox. “Football is fun all around, but defense gives me more of a rush. I like making a big impact. I like safety, but corner works for me as well. I like both defensive back spots. I think college coaches want me to work on making my hips more fluid, so that is what I’m doing this off-season.”

Coach Knox added, “He has played cornerback all along, but he is approaching 6-0, about 200 pounds. He may end up being a safety.”
