A weekend visit to the University of Virginia impressed Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) wide receiver E.J. Scott , and while UVa has done well in recruiting the 5-11, 170-pound junior, no decision has been made. Scott, a tremendous athlete with 4.42-second speed in the 40, reflected on his latest experience in Charlottesville.
“I wanted to get a feel for the team and the players,” said Scott, who arrived on Saturday to watch the Spring Game. “I got to see them. I wanted a chance to check out the spread offense. It looked good. I like how they switched it up. They throw something different at you all the time. They do different stuff to utilize the receivers a lot.”
Scott’s visit didn’t end with the Spring Game. He stayed overnight, which gave him a chance to speak more at length the coaches and players, among other things.
