Cavs Have Offered Three from Don Bosco

One of the top high school football programs in the Northeast and perhaps the country, Don Bosco Prep (Wykoff, N.J.) is used to churning out Division 1A prospects almost on a yearly basis. UVa head coach Al Groh is certainly high on head coach Greg Toal’s 2010 class, as he has already extended scholarship offers to three Don Bosco rising seniors.

“Right now they are only focusing on those three, but who knows,” Toal said.

The three recruits UVa has offered include defensive lineman Ryan Cobb . Kittredge, Coach Toal says, is “Our most recruited guy. He has been our most recruited guy to this point, but I don’t think I have one guy that stands out head and shoulders above the rest. I think they are all good guys.”

Besides Virginia, the 6-4, 260-pound Kittredge boasts offers from Central Florida, Duke, Maryland, N.C. State, Pitt, Rutgers and Vanderbilt. The standout defensive line prospect is drawing serious interest from a number of other Division 1A programs as well.
