Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) wide receiver E.J. Scott , who earned an offer from the University of Virginia back in February, may be closing in on a decision. The 5-11, 170-pound rising senior, who wanted to go through the Evaluation period before figuring out when he would commit, has three favorites right now.

“Everything has wound down in recruiting, so I’m going to commit sometime pretty soon probably,” Scott said. “My top schools are UVa, Wake Forest and Rutgers.”

He adds, “I’m talking to Maryland a lot recently and I’m talking to Coach Poindexter from Virginia a lot. I’m coming down to Virginia on the 13th to visit.”
