Don Bosco Prep (Wykoff, N.J.) offensive lineman/defensive lineman Brandon Sacco has been officially offered by Akron, Miami of Ohio, Pitt, Vanderbilt and Virginia. Boston College, Notre Dame and Rutgers are showing serious interest as well and the 6-3, 260-pound prospect hopes quality camp performances will help garner offers from those programs.

“All of the schools that want me to camp have said there is a good chance they’ll offer if I come,” Sacco said.

UVa was the first school to offer Sacco, who admittedly was “pretty shocked” when he received it. He hadn’t had much contact with the Virginia staff prior to the offer, which came on a spring visit the New Jersey standout made to Charlottesville.
