Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) rising senior E.J. Scott , one of three players to commit to Virginia this past weekend, has always thought highly of UVa.

“Virginia has always been on top for me,” said the 5-11, 175-pound wide receiver prospect. “They offered me real early. A lot of schools came later. I liked Virginia before I received any offers. I’ve always felt like it would be a good fit. They play in the ACC and I like that. I’ve just always felt like it fit. I visited other schools and Virginia was still the best fit.”

So Scott had a good feeling about Virginia from the start, but the addition of offensive coordinator Gregg Brandon and wide receiver coach Latrell Scott perhaps put the Cavaliers over the top.
