Aramide Olaniyan ‘s recruiting card

A week after making an unofficial visit to the University of Michigan to see the Wolverines take on Notre Dame, Woodberry Forest (VA) star linebacker/defensive end Aramide Olaniyan de-committed from Duke, the school he committed to this March. The 6-3, 195-pound senior discussed his decision and which schools he may now inspect closer.

“I was talking to my parents and we both came to the consensus that it’s best for me to look around elsewhere and reconsider my options,” Olaniyan said.

“My parents love Duke. I love Duke also. I’d say I probably didn’t think things through as much as I should’ve. I didn’t give other coaches a chance to recruit me. There was always some hesitation, but I thought at the time it was the best situation for me.”
