Virginia football may have a new head coach, but the success continues at nationally regarded DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD). This evening, the Cavaliers landed another recruit from Bill McGregor’s highly regarded program.

Head coach Mike London’s seventh commitment of the 2011 class comes from 5-11, 180-pound cornerback Jordan Lomax .

“I have committed to Virginia,” Lomax said.

“The coaching staff stood out to me. Coach Poindexter and Coach London and the other coaches, I could tell they are all men of God and men of character. I’ve got a good vibe with them. I have a good relationship with all of them. I fell in love with the school. It’s ranked high academically. I can get a great education. I just felt like Virginia was the school for me. I felt like it was God ordained”
