Rob Burns now boasts seven official FBS scholarship offers. In order of when they were received, Virginia, Duke, Stanford, Wake Forest, Maryland, Boston College, Syracuse and Rutgers have offered the 6-7, 230-pound rising senior defensive end/tight end prospect. Burns may be ready to take the next step in his decision making process according to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) head coach Mickey Thompson.
“He’s starting to narrow it down,” Thompson said. “He’s talking about narrowing it down this weekend, so it’s getting fairly close. I just talked to his mom today and they were going to talk this weekend.”
