Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) star Sam Marshall has seen his recruitment flourish throughout the spring and summer, accumulating scholarship offers from Duke, East Carolina, Louisville, Marshall, N.C. State, Virginia and Western Michigan. The 6-8, 265-pound offensive tackle prospect doesn’t figure to be on the market much longer, though, as he plans to decide his college future as early as this week.

Barring a change, Marshall will play college football in the ACC.

“Those are the main three [being considered],” said Marshall, referring to Duke, N.C. State and UVa.

“I feel like all three have what I want, so I have to sit and think about it for a couple of days. All three of them have the major I want to look at.”
