Big Offensive Tackle Picks UVa

Mount Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA) offensive tackle Tim Cwalina has become rising high school senior #21 to commit to the University of Virginia. The 6-7, 275-pound prospect also held offers from Boston College, Buffalo and Pittsburgh before selecting Charlottesville as the destination for his college future.

Cwalina, a first-team all-Great Southern Conference performer as a junior in 2009, joins Cox (Virginia Beach, VA) star Kelby Johnson as the three offensive line commits in Virginia’s 2011 class. Cwalina and Johnson project as tackles, while Burbank likely will play on the interior line.

Of the 21 commits, nine now reside outside of the state of Virginia. Cwalina, though, is the only recruit from the state of Pennsylvania.

Stay tuned to TheSabre EDGE for much more on this commitment in the coming days.
