Newton (Covington, GA) rising senior linebacker D.J. Hill has never visited the University of Virginia before, but that will change this week. The 6-1, 220-pound prospect, a 4-year starter on the varsity level, plans to arrive in Charlottesville on Friday before heading home on Saturday.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how they run things,” Hill said. “I definitely want to see if I get a gut feeling about it.”

Hill named Memphis as another potential visit destination, but for now he has yet to schedule a trip to the Tennessee school. He has taken visits to his two other favorites, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. Hill admits that Ole Miss is “still pretty high” on his list, but he enters his first visit to UVa with an open mind.

“I’ve got a couple more visits to make before I make a decision,” he said.
