A college decision likely won’t come for months, but McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) tight end Rory Anderson has narrowed his list to six. The 6-5, 205-pound senior includes the University of Virginia in his final six after being impressed on an unofficial visit he made this summer.
“Once I got the offer [from UVa], I started contacting them,” Anderson said. “I went up there when one of our players went up for a camp. Virginia was a school I was interested in, so I went up there with him. I definitely enjoyed myself. I watched them coach. I had a chance to hang with some players.”
When he does make official visits, Anderson intends to make UVa one of those stops.
“Yeah, I plan on trying to get back up there,” Anderson said. “If I go back up there for an official and I feel like it’s where I want to be, I would make the call. When I went up there, I really enjoyed myself. I’m trying to get back up there sometime soon.”
