2012 Report: Revia Attended Camp, Will Return

This year, Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) enjoyed its first winning season since 2000, coming through with six wins to four losses. Head coach Brad Bradley expects to have a talented group next year with 6-7, 300-pound offensive tackle Ryan Revia leading the way in the trenches. Revia, a junior, is getting a look from the University of Virginia.

“I know UVa is looking at him,” said Bradley, who coached former UVa running back Cedric Peerman while at William Campbell High School. He just ended his second season at PH. “I’ve had inquires from James Madison and William & Mary. A lot of people are looking at him. He had a good year this year. He was a little on the weak side when I came here, but he is better now. He can do a 265-pound power clean and he can bench around 300. I think he’ll even improve that much more in the coming months. He is also doing wrestling to improve his athletic ability.

“I think he can play D1 football. A lot depends on this offseason. In terms of grades, he has a 3.7 GPA in all AP classes, and he has already made the score on the boards.”

The junior big man, a 2-year starter on the varsity football squad, has also played basketball his freshman and sophomore years.
