For Darius Lee , being selected to play in the December 30 Chesapeake Bowl was an opportunity to showcase his talents against a high level of competition (over 70 FBS prospects selected to play). The 6-2, 200-pound senior, a standout safety/linebacker out of St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School (Alexandria, VA), relished the opportunity and left feeling good about his performance.
“I’m extremely happy with how I played,” said Lee, who suited up for the victorious South squad. “I was just happy to play in the game. I know that the league that I play in isn’t the strongest competition, but [the Chesapeake Bowl] was a chance to prove I could compete with the best. That game proved it to me.
