Where’s The Buzz? Trapped In Wait And See

There’s an all-out QB derby going on, but there is minimal buzz around UVa football this spring.

I don’t know if it is because it is still March. Perhaps it is the morning practices limiting live views of the team. Maybe it is because this is Final Four weekend and hoops are on the brain. But whatever it is, there’s a decided lack of buzz about Virginia’s Spring Game and football practice this spring.

I don’t know if that is warranted worrying or out-of-whack wondering, but it sure seems like a sign of the cautionary approach coming from Hoo fans. After pining for Al Groh to leave and celebrating the “Building of a Program” start of Mike London, it seems Virginia fans have settled into what has become an all-too-familiar pattern once again: namely, wait and see.
