Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) wide receiver/safety Anthony Cooper considered but did not make an unofficial visit to the University of Virginia on April 15, deciding instead to visit Old Dominion University on the same day. Virginia, though, continues to be one of the top contenders for the 6-0, 180-pound junior, who boasts offers from Boston College, Old Dominion, Richmond, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and William & Mary.

Cooper remains open, but four schools sit atop his list of schools.

“UVa, Vanderbilt, ODU, Tennessee…they all stand out a lot right now,” Cooper said.

A preseason commitment is possible, but Cooper is leaning heavily right now towards a later decision. Most likely, he’ll commit this coming fall or winter after making official visits. Cooper has not ruled out making all five official visits.
