JHoo’s Summer Reading 2011: Offensive Line

Anthony Mihota returns to the starting center spot at UVa.

Year in, year out, the offensive line is the hardest of any of the Summer Reading columns to write … and it really is not close. After all, when it comes to the line, it is not so much about the individual players – the primary focus of these columns in many ways – but instead about how the pieces fit together. The same is true this year, as the talent seems to be there for UVa to have a pretty good line but it is somewhat unclear where even “established” starters will start. Still, compared to some recent years, that is an awfully good problem to have.

The Starters

I can say with some confidence that Anthony Mihota , Austin Pasztor , Oday Aboushi , and Morgan Moses are going to start. The fifth starter, barring something unforeseen, will be either Landon Bradley or Luke Bowanko . The two “easy” players to discuss are Mihota and Pasztor, simply because I know they will start and I know where they will start. After that, things get a little more confusing.
