Severin Closes In On Decision

“I can’t wait, man.” – Senior Canaan Severin , looking ahead to Worcester Academy’s (Worcester, MA) season opener against Phillips Exeter Academy on September 24. It appears the 6’3″, 210-pound wide receiver prospect won’t wait much longer to decide his college future, and an announcement is likely to come before next weekend’s contest.

“I think that I want to make a day this week to figure out when I’m going to announce,” Severin said. “I think I’m going to schedule something for next week.”

Boston College, Connecticut, Iowa, Penn State and Virginia are still being considered by Severin, who plans to reveal a final three when he sets his decision date. This month, the standout prospect has visited Boston College (official visit the weekend of September 3) and Penn State (unofficial for the Alabama game last Saturday).

“Boston College was definitely good,” Severin said. “They lost to Northwestern on kind of the last play of the game. It was the first game of the season, and a lot of people were there.
