It’s Thursday night, which means Matt Johns and the rest of the Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA) seniors are enjoying senior dinner night, continuing a tradition that began when the school opened in 2005. The 6’4″, 195-pound quarterback looks to guide the Titans to victory tomorrow night against Suburban One Continental League rival Souderton.
“They were the team predicted to win the conference,” Johns said of Souderton. “They have a running back going to Villanova. They run the wing-T offense. They were predicted to win the league, but they had some mismatches and lost a couple of games early. They are 3-3 coming in, and we are 4-2. This is our game to take the next step, to prove to everyone we are as good as everyone is saying.”
