Quarterback Matt Johns and his Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA) teammates rebounded from a tough 44-42 loss to Souderton with a 29-point win over Hatboro-Horsham. The Titans now own all any team can ask for when it comes to earning a playoff berth. With two regular season games remaining, they control their own destiny.
“We have to win both,” said the UVa-bound senior, whose team is 5-3 heading into this week’s match-up against Pennridge. “We lose one and we’re probably out. We’re just taking it one game at a time. The next team we play is on a 5-game win streak. They took it to us last year, so I hope we can take it to them this year.”
