  • Virginia owns a 32-30 all-time lead in the Duke series, which dates back to 1890.
  • With 62 games between the two teams, Duke is the fifth most common opponent for the Cavaliers behind UNC, Virginia Tech, VMI, and Maryland. The two programs have played every year since 1963.
