Michael Mooney earned first-team all-conference honors at offensive tackle last year, which was his first season on the Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA) varsity football squad. An intense offseason proved beneficial for Mooney, who started out his high school career at tight end before moving down to the line.
“I think I did a lot better this year than in my junior year,” the 6’6″, 260-pound senior said. “I was stronger physically, and I worked more technically than I did the year before. I definitely put a lot of work in last spring and summer. I worked hard.”
